European Footvolley League Elects New Executive Committee – Igor Alberto Oliveira Becomes President
The European Footvolley League has elected the new Executive Committee at an Extraordinary General Meeting.
As part of an online meeting on 14 May 2025, the participating member nations
- France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland -
resolved in accordance with § IV.1.17 . 6 to convene an Extraordinary Congress for the purpose of new elections. Therefore, the National Footvolley Associations been a member of the European Footvolley League send their delegates at the 29th of June to Schwäbisch Gmünd to elect a new EFVL Board.
With 8 by 8 votes Igor Alberto Oliveira become the new president of Footvolley Europe. The new Vice President Sascha Kühne (Germany) and General Finance Cedric Schmutz also gather 8 by 8 votes.
The Executive Committee is completed by Elin Astrid Gustafsson and Filippo Maria Capatti (8 by 8 votes) and the candidates Benedikt Hoffmann-Wellenhof and Khalil Ajaj (7 out of 8 votes) proposed on the day of the election.
According to the statutes, the committee has the possibility to appoint up to 2 additional assessors to the group.
The constituent meeting with the distribution of responsibilities will take place in August 2025.
